General Rules

1.In academic sections (Engineering / Technology / Agriculture) i.e. sections A1 to G1, it is mandatory to have students of the same Institute/College in project group. However, project group consisting students of different Colleges, Branches, Years (i.e. Inter College / Inter Disciplinary group) is allowed in the Theme Section (i.e. T1)
2. Maximum number of participants in each project group should not exceed 4 for Diploma, 6 for Degree, 1 for PG in academic sections (Engineering / Technology / Agriculture) i.e. sections A1 to G1 and 6 in Theme Section (i.e. T1)
3. Student studying in any discipline can send an entry in any section. The choice of section should be made based on the application/field of the model and not on the Discipline/Branch of Diploma/Degree/PG course.
4. The choice of section is to be given by the students themselves in the entry form while submitting the form. No change in this choice will be allowed thereafter.
5. Participant must exhibit their working model in DIPEX. Only Industry Sponsored Projects which are not feasible to exhibit in the event can present their project in the form of presentation, actual videos along with testing reports. In such case, a letter from the sponsor industry stating the reason for not showcasing project in event must be submitted at the time of reporting.
6. Industry Sponsored Projects must attach the Certificate of sponsorship and acknowledgment of the solution given to the industry at the time of reporting.
7. The list of selected entries will be displayed on the website by 19 February, 2020 and only selected working models will be exhibited in the competition.
8. Participants will receive an email containing the PDF copy of the form filled online. Carry one hard copy of this PDF and Six hard copies of Synopsis along with selection letter at the time of reporting.
9. Final round of the examination will be held during the exhibition.
10. The judges will have the authority to not to examine model exhibited in an incorrect section and disqualify the same. Participation certificate will not be awarded for such disqualified model.

11. All participants must strictly follow the rules and regulations as well as schedule of the event. Breaking any discipline will immediately result in disqualification of the participant (or his/her project group) from the event.
12. The entry form is available at www.srijan.org.in/dipex and to be filled and submitted ONLINE ONLY.
13. Entry fee for each model will be Rs.775/-(Rs. Seven hundred seventy fifty only)
ENTRY FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE & CAN BE PAID ONLY ONLINE.
14. All participants have to produce their College IDENTITY CARDS while reporting for the competition. Those without valid ID card shall not be allowed to participate.
15. The models will be examined Section-wise by a panel of judges that include Academic as well as industrial expert of that field
16. All the participants must be present with their models at the time of examination and should answer the questions asked by the judges.
17. Only the Participants present at the exhibition for all four days will get a participation certificate.
18. A trophy of “General Championship” will be awarded to the Institute/College based on its overall performance in the exhibition.
19. All the participants will have to report on 6th March 2020 at 9.00 am and keep the models ready working before 12.00 noon on the same day. Participants reporting late may not be allowed to participate in the competition.
20. The organizers will provide a stall with sunshade 2m X 3m, a single phase electrical supply up to 2 kW.
21. Connections above 2 kW load and three phase electrical connections will be provided only with prior intimation at an extra charge of Rs. 250/-(Two hundred fifty only) per connection to be paid at the time of reporting at the Event.
22. The Organizers will arrange water for project, if required, with prior intimation.
23. Participants have to make the arrangement of their own if they require other utilities like air compressors, oscilloscope or computers, stabilizers etc. Projects having computer must bring stabilizer and other required accessories.

24. Lodging arrangements will be provided for girl participants at reasonable charges, with prior intimation.
25. Catering services will be made available at the exhibition venue at reasonable charges.
26. Travelling expenses are to be borne by the participants themselves or by their Institutes.
27. The participants may obtain students concession for DIPEX-2020 through their Institutions.
28. The Organizers reserve all rights and authorities regarding all the matters related to DIPEX-2020.
29. The decision given by judges in all the matters shall be final.
